The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
