Despite embarking on their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Without key figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable win that all but secures them a place in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Another victory in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS ought to be enough to seal straight entry to the last 16, particularly following a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Grasp the Opportunity
This match offered a chance for several Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken finish. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second game in succession.

The contest was effectively over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest key players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring his first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the traveling side.
